In Peru
My story starts with a realization. Hello! My name is Joel Alonso but you can call me Joel if you want. I am Peruvian-Chinese and my first language is Spanish, I know two other languages (English obviously and Mandarin Chinese) I can read Korean and talk it a bit. I was born in Peru and moved to the United States when I was 5. I hope to move back to Peru one day but with a career that will allow me to work and profit there. It would be amazing if I could go to China to be with my family and possibly work there too. Basically international work would be ideal. I graduated Preble High School in 2014. I am attending a fine arts college called MCAD and am in Minneapolis, Minnesota alone. I am doing Entrepreneurial studies in the Bachelors of Science program. I'm neither worried nor scared about being here, however I am still sad that I am far away from my family.
I like any type of art but my favorite kind is realistic watercolor paintings. I also enjoy pencil and ball point pen drawings. Through time I hope to get even better.
I watch Television a lot more than I should. It takes to much of my time but I don't have any will power to stop watching. I can't really do that anymore. So yay for Netflix.
Scroll down a bit. Do you see those lovely things down there? Yup those are my lovely buddies. Spike is a Siberian husky and Layne is a Black Lab mix. Yeah they go nuts when they are in a car but they love it. The park is also one of their favorites places. I take Spike for a run almost every day (usually a mile and a half run) and I take Layne for a walk. THEY ARE SMART. (o^^)o but now I don't see them anymore and it breaks my heart. I miss them so much.
